Tottenham Hotspur have dismissed manager Thomas Frank following a 2-1 home loss to Newcastle United on Tuesday, Sky Sports reports.
Frank, who took charge last summer after a successful spell at Brentford, leaves Spurs with the club in 16th place in the Premier League, five points above the relegation zone.
The team has struggled in 2026, failing to win any of their eight league matches so far.
The Dane also leaves with the lowest Premier League home win percentage for a Spurs manager since 2008.
Tuesday’s defeat at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium proved decisive, highlighting the team’s struggles with consistency, creativity, and defensive stability.
Frank’s appointment had initially generated optimism due to his reputation for maximizing limited resources at Brentford.
However, managing one of England’s biggest clubs brought greater scrutiny and pressure, with results failing to match expectations.
The club has yet to issue an official statement regarding the managerial change.
