Dangote Refinery
Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals has announced a price increase for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), raising the gantry price from ₦1,175 to ₦1,245 per litre, marking a ₦70 per litre hike.
The new rate will take effect from 12:00 a.m. on March 21, 2026, and applies to all outstanding and unloaded volumes. Coastal supply prices have also been adjusted from ₦1,512,648 to ₦1,606,518 per metric tonne.
The refinery attributed the adjustment to persisting global geopolitical tensions affecting energy markets.
Customers holding valid Bank Guarantees may continue loading under current arrangements, provided they settle the price difference by March 23, 2026.
This increase comes as geopolitical disruptions, particularly in the Middle East, continue to impact global fuel supply, prompting adjustments by major refiners.
