The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the sale of application documents for the 2026 Direct Entry programme.
In a statement posted on its official X account on Monday, the board announced that registration began on March 2, 2026, and will close on April 25, 2026.
JAMB clarified that the entire registration process — including the purchase of e-PINs and application documents — is strictly limited to its accredited state and zonal offices nationwide.
The Direct Entry programme enables candidates with recognised qualifications such as National Diploma (ND), National Certificate in Education (NCE), Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), A-level certificates, or other approved equivalents to secure admission directly into 200-level university programmes, without sitting for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The development follows the conclusion of the 2026 UTME registration exercise, which ended on February 28.
