Nigeria\u2019s nominal Gross Domestic Product rose to N122.81 trillion in the fourth quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n
This is according to the National Bureau of Statistics GDP report, which showed the country\u2019s economy grew by 4.07 percent in real terms.<\/p>\n
The nominal GDP increased by N9.22 trillion in Q4 2025 from N113.59 trillion.<\/p>\n
According to the data, the non-oil sector contributed 97.13 percent to the country\u2019s GDP, while the oil sector is 2.87 percent.<\/p>\n
Further details showed that the service triggered Nigeria\u2019s GDP growth in the period under review by 55.92 percent, followed by industries (15.42 percent) and agriculture (28.66 percent).<\/p>\n
\u201cThe growth of the industry sector stood at 3.88 percent from 2.49 percent recorded in the fourth quarter of 2024, while the services sector recorded a growth of 4.15 percent from 4.75 percent in the same quarter of 2024,\u201d NBS stated.<\/p>\n
