The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Nentawe Yilwatda, has said the 2027 general election will serve as a referendum on the reforms and leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Yilwatda made the statement during the Hope Ambassadors Summit in Abuja, where he described the gathering as a strategic platform aimed at strengthening support for the party\u2019s Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the next general election.<\/p>\n

He said governance must be supported with effective communication, strong political structures and grassroots mobilisation to ensure that reforms translate into public trust and electoral success.<\/p>\n

According to him, the ruling party has chosen long-term reforms and economic restructuring rather than short-term populist policies, expressing confidence that Nigerians would vote for results in 2027.<\/p>\n

Yilwatda urged party members to remain united and avoid conflicting messages that could weaken the party\u2019s chances, stressing that cohesion and discipline are necessary for victory.<\/p>\n
