President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to turning Nigeria\u2019s fortunes around, declaring that he remains resolute in his mission to rebuild the nation\u2019s economy and strengthen its security architecture<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tinubu made the statement on Monday during an interfaith breaking of fast with members of the Nigeria Governors\u2019 Forum at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The event coincided with the Muslim Ramadan and Christian Lent seasons.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am determined to rescue this country. And as long as we work together in delivering hope to our citizens, the best is yet to come for Nigeria,\u201d the President said.<\/p>\n

He noted that Nigeria had emerged from what he described as a period of economic uncertainty, expressing optimism that current reforms were beginning to yield positive results.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are out of the woods. Out of the dark tunnel of uncertainty. The economy is showing up,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Tinubu urged governors and religious leaders to prioritise policies that uplift the poor, empower young people, and extend development to grassroots communities regardless of religion or ethnicity.<\/p>\n

Addressing insecurity, the President reiterated his administration\u2019s plan to establish state police, stressing that security remains the foundation for national growth and prosperity.<\/p>\n

He called for unity and bold reforms, maintaining that collaboration among leaders at all levels would accelerate Nigeria\u2019s recovery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
