The Dangote Refinery<\/span><\/span> fell short of its planned daily supply of 50 million litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to the domestic market in January 2026, according to figures published by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority<\/span><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Statistics contained in the regulator\u2019s January industry report indicate that the 650,000-barrel-per-day facility supplied an average of 40.1 million litres of petrol per day during the month, leaving a deficit of 9.9 million litres from its target.<\/p>\n

However, the refinery supplied more petrol than imports within the same period. It contributed 61.78 per cent of total national petrol supply in January, while imported products averaged 24.8 million litres daily, accounting for 38.22 per cent.<\/p>\n

Overall, the regulator stated that the country\u2019s average daily petrol supply in January stood at 64.9 million litres, with estimated daily consumption at 60.2 million litres.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
