Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has come under scrutiny on social media following the circulation of an alleged leaked audio conversation in which a TikTok fan reportedly made disparaging remarks about fellow actress Funke Akindele.

Abraham, who had remained silent amid the online backlash, drew attention on Thursday after reposting an Instagram message by influencer Bukky Majek, who defended her against criticism.

The 11-minute, 42-second recording, which began circulating on social media during the week, reportedly features a conversation between Abraham and a TikTok user identified as Bisgold.

In the audio, the fan is allegedly heard making repeated insulting remarks about Akindele, while Abraham is reportedly heard laughing and listening without cautioning the speaker.

The recording has triggered mixed reactions, with some social media users questioning Abraham’s response to the comments, while others have urged caution over the recording’s authenticity and the need to consider its full context.

The conversation also reportedly touched on actress Iyabo Ojo and an earlier incident involving the entertainers.

Abraham was further alleged to have discussed actors Itele and Kemity, claiming that some people who profess support for her operate fake accounts to attack others. She reportedly described Kemity as someone she considers a daughter.

The controversy has also renewed public attention on the reported tension between Abraham and Akindele, which came into focus following an incident at the premiere of Iyabo Ojo’s film, The Return of Labake Olododo.

While some critics argue that Abraham should have challenged the disparaging comments allegedly made during the conversation, others maintain that the recording does not establish that she directly insulted Akindele.

Neither the authenticity nor the full context of the recording has been independently established. As of the time of filing this report, neither actress nor their representatives had publicly confirmed the recording’s authenticity.
