Leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State have reaffirmed their loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq while endorsing Rt. Hon. Saliu Yakubu Danladi as the party\u2019s candidate for the 2027 governorship election in the state.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The endorsement was made during a stakeholders\u2019 assembly attended by party executives, traditional rulers, religious leaders, elected officials, youth leaders, ward executives and community stakeholders across the local government.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the gathering, APC Chairman in Oke-Ero LGA, Hon. Chief James Kayode Bamidele (Ojopagogo), commended party members for their loyalty and commitment, stressing that unity remained essential to the continued success of the APC in Kwara State.<\/p>\n

The APC State Legal Officer, Barrister Sunday Ashaolu, described the party\u2019s governorship primary election as constitutional, transparent and credible. He maintained that the process was peaceful and produced Rt. Hon. Danladi as the choice of party members through a democratic process.<\/p>\n

Traditional rulers also threw their weight behind the party\u2019s leadership. The Olota of Odo-Owa, Oba Adeyemi Adimula, urged party faithful to remain united and work together for the development of Kwara State.<\/p>\n

Religious leaders at the meeting, including representatives of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Chief Imam of Oke-Ero, called on members to sustain support for the APC-led administrations at both the state and federal levels.<\/p>\n

The lawmaker representing Oke-Ero State Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Joseph Olajire Bamigboye, said Danladi\u2019s emergence reflected the wishes of party members and urged stakeholders to unite behind his candidacy ahead of the 2027 polls.<\/p>\n

Also speaking, Hon. Mrs. Kemi Oni Babatunde appealed to aggrieved party members to embrace reconciliation and work together for the collective interest of the party.<\/p>\n

A special prayer session was held for President Tinubu, Governor AbdulRazaq, the peace and development of Kwara State, and the success of Danladi in the forthcoming governorship election.<\/p>\n

In a communiqu\u00e9 issued at the end of the meeting, stakeholders passed a vote of confidence on President Tinubu\u2019s administration and Governor<\/p>\n

AbdulRazaq\u2019s leadership, while formally recognising the outcome of the APC governorship primary election that produced Danladi as the party\u2019s candidate.<\/p>\n

The stakeholders also resolved to intensify mobilisation efforts across wards and communities in Oke-Ero Local Government to secure victory for the APC in future elections and promote peace, unity and harmony within the party.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
